What is this?

Know yourself.
Know your desire.

A Yes, No, Maybe List is one of the most foundational tools in conscious sexuality. It's a structured way to explore the full range of your desires: what you're into, what's a hard no, what you're curious about, and what lives in the realm of fantasy only.

This version also includes a Fantasy column, because fantasy is a deeply valuable part of our sexual expression, even when it only ever lives in the imagination. Naming what we're drawn to in fantasy, without any obligation to act on it, is its own kind of liberation.

Use it solo to get clear on your own landscape. Use it with a partner to open up conversations that might otherwise never happen. Either way, it's one of the most intimate things you can do for your sex life.

How to use it

A few suggestions
before you begin.

  • Print it out. Give yourself real time and space, not a quick scroll on your phone.
  • If you have a partner, work on it separately first. Honor the wholeness of your own sexuality before comparing notes.
  • Feel into each item rather than thinking your way through it. Notice what arises in your body.
  • The Fantasy column is private unless you choose to share it. It's for you.
  • Your answers can change over time. This isn't a contract, it's a conversation with yourself.
